County looks to inventory property

Pike County commissioners approved a Tax Anticipation Note to fund operational expenses and discussed inventory improvements to county-owned land at the June 28 meeting. It was noted the loan is not to exceed $800,000 and will be drawn on an as needed basis as it was last year. Commissioners also discussed the old Hollonville firehouse which is currently unused.

Is it possible to determine the owner? Does any one know how much land it is?

Sorry Carol, if Frank wants that property he'll have to buy it from the original owners or their decendents. This could take a while. Keep meddling there's so much more you can mess up.

It is a simple task. The county attorney should declare the property by soverign immunity, sell the property and give the money to the family that donated land on Hollinville to build the new station.

That relic fire truck appears to be in need of a wash, wax and shine. Is it true Firebug with his meager experience in vehicle maintenance has volunteered to clean up the old truck?
I hope he doesn't forget to apply tire black so the tires will shine like my new boots.

Rick don't go chasing after me now. I threw the others a cure by saying I am retired. They needed a different direction to run in. I guess that will keep them occupied for awhile. Are you the Rick that is from GFR? If so we know one another.

been easy to inventory the sheriff's department on 19N. Looks like every piece of equipment was there for a accidental shooting. been a good time to rob a bank on the square.
