County approves budget

Commissioners met Tuesday, June 28 for final adoption of Pike County’s 2011-12 budget. It was reduced by 10.3% from last year’s approved budget. The general fund budget totals $8,741,968 after $900,630 in cuts. The new budget year begins July 1. The Journal Reporter went to press before the final budget adoption.

Yes and after each year citizens will be honestly informed and taxpayers will know where each penny was spent. Carol Bass is a blessing to our county.

Carol Bass is meddling in areas to satisfy the curriosity of Jimmy Bass, Gary Hammock and David Hughes.

I don't believe many of Her actions are in the best interest of the Citizens of Pike County.
