A public hearing to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2011-12 budget became heated Wednesday, June 8 as department heads and elected officials discussed the $865,298 cuts made by commis- sioners and additional proposed cuts to Magistrate court suggested by commissioner Carol Bass.

“What I’m proposing is that we take the assistant judge position and make that a part time position and move that salary and any fringe benefits into the contingency fund."

Just another example of how we are being led by a bunch of bafoons. It helps if they would read the laws and use common sense before making proposals.

No mention made about his wife Carol taking a pay cut as commissioner. Share the pain Jimmy. You want our Pike County employees who pay Pike County taxes to take pay cuts or give up their jobs? You two set an example and start first.

There is talk of a recall going on right now. Mr. and Mrs. Commissioner are in for big surprise.

The single recall that should be made is to a planning board member who does not pay his property tax. He is the one who screams the loudest about everyone else. Mr. PB Chairman take notice and make it happen. Resign or put it in the lap of the BOC.

Time to step up and demand the recall of BOC appointed Planning Board member who does not pay his property tax. The Planning Board Chairman should have already brought it to the table. Come on Tony and handle the issue!

Fat Bass Tard has a bad memory so he really might have forgot. But Tolley? Tolley knows. Tell us in great detail like you tell everything else. Your knowledge about the world you live in never ceases to amaze me.

in pike county history their never hasbeen a recall for onyone volunteerings persunel time on a board.

It takes Good People Standing Proud and Bold to Solve our county problems. All yous peoples need to do the same as me, attend all the meetings, read the 2 county blogs, get off your sofas and gets involvesed! I am that pewson!
