One year ago, Christopher Chambley, 29, was shot to death on Reid Road near the Lamar County line on June 4. The Redbone district resident and father of an infant daughter died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, according to an autopsy performed at the state crime lab.
Of course nobody should do anyting illegal, but sorry Crystal, that guy was somebody's brother, son, daddy. nobody's saddness should be used as an example. even though people do teach their children to stay on the stright and narrow, things happen and i just hope it doesn't happen to one of your children. really tragic this young man had to die. instead of trying to make examples of what happened, we should be encouraging our children and giving them hope.
Yes I am sure he has family. And I am sure the loss is devasting for them. I get all that. None of us live forever. In fact we all die.
"Hope and encouragement" sounds like something I read on a balloon or in a hallmark card. Im teaching "our children" street smarts. Lesson #1 HOW TO STAY ALIVE. If they can do that they have a whole life ahead of them.
