Graduates ready to walk
As graduates of the class of 2011 look to the future, graduates of the class of 1961 are asked to complete Project Talent which began 50 years ago. This year, 217 students will graduate from Pike County High School at Friday night's commencement ceremony. Principal Mike Maddox said 40% of the students will attend two-year or technical colleges and 25% will attend four-year colleges, with students earning $800,000 for academic and athletic scholarships.
