Concord council member Richard Mark Wall, 48, of Hill Street in Concord, was arrested for possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance, which is a felony.

One of Mayhem's greatest words of advice is "Its not what you do, it's how you do it." Pills not in their original bottle? This Wall guy sounds like the type of fool who rides down the the road with a taillight out, drinking a beer, smoking a joint, with a suspended license, and no insurance, doing 20 miles over the speed limit. A perfect candidate for a council member in Pike. Mayhem does have paranoid dillusions that people come by and steal pills out his "stash" when his back is turned. He just wishes they would a least leave something behind.............
I heard Richard Wall had a valid and current prescription for the drug. Because they were in an envelope instead of the prescribed bottle he gets dealt a felony by some yahoo, wanna be cowboy, what a joke!!! This Napolean complex cop needs to get a life. Go out and pursue a threat to our county and not an upstanding member of our community. Why not focus on the crack houses and meth labs, oh yeah, because our officials won't be involved, therefore, less publicity and newspaper sales. NARCOTICS TASKFORCE!! REALLY? Be sure to go ahead and tell America that the world isn't flat. Let's arrest somebody for being handicapped next time. That's basically what this is. This fella has a prescription for what he had in his possession. TO THE GALLOWS WITH HIM, Barney!!!
A narcotics investigation and the top bust is a guy with 40 percocets. Sounds like maybe alot of this was personal! I don't know the party involved but I would say this story sounds just a little fishy.
I think the whole story should be told before anything gets published in the paper or talked about on the radio. It is written that one is innocent till proven guilty. Let the court decide, not be convicted by the public. You need the whole story before you talk are you become the fool.
I agree mark. I see the accused was not charged with sales, purchase, or conspiracy to commit either. So from this news report it appears it took an investigation of a task force of two combined law enforcement agencies to arrest a man for having pills not in a bottle. I am surprised there is not a photo of their big pill recovery. If you lined them all up in a straight line it might actually look like something. Just be glad there were no navy seals at the scene. An unarmed man may have got shot in the head. Is this article written to make a mockery of Pike's task force or to show they are serious about not letting Pike become a cess pool like Spalding? Its hard for me to tell. I know this article has made me a better Pike resident. I spent the morning getting all my pills that fell on the floor and rolled under my stove and refrigerator and put them back in their correct bottles. "Allen" got me so paranoid I had to clean up my act.
I agree with Concerned Concordian and Mayhem. I think now we know where to cut about a million dollars from the budget. What a waste. I do wish they would list all the names of the law enforcement involved. And you better believe it was personal.
"Allen" got me so paranoid I had to clean up my act...
It is encouraging to notice you are making progress in your recovery. Your actions are not from a paranoid person, but, a clear thinker. There is hope for you Mayhem. I will move on now to someone who really needs help. You should run for elected office in Pike County. Shall I say, Commissioner Mayhem?
What a waste of our resources and what a shame. This man wasn't hurting anybody. the war on drugs, what a joke. What he does in the privacy of his own home is nobody's business.
Heck why not make a bigger bust than a few pain killers. Go down just a little bit further to a place called hill top and get all the drugs up from there.
Here is what he got caught doing per the article
-
distribution of prescription pills in Pike County,”
if the above occured and he was selling his own prescription drugs then he should be in trouble. I know we have all had some sort of medical problems or surgeries and some of the medicine they prescribe to us is quite valuable to drug seekers.
Have no time. My neighbor dragged me to church on easter and I came up with a business idea. As soon as I got home I bought all the rabbits I could find. As soon as they start laying eggs I am going to start selling them to local eateries and markets. Never know where Christian teachings will take you in life. Hopefully for me its straight to the bank! So forget the commish. Its farmer Mayhem to you!
Anyone that gives anyone a pill (including the little blue one) that wasn't prescribed to them, it's distribution.
Criminal? I don't think so. Unless he didn't need them himself and was only getting them to distribute. Those things have about a $10 street value each.
read the article again friend. first charge-possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance (felony). second charge-possessing a drug not in the original container (misdemeanor). if he was caught distributing he would have been charged with it. hope you aint a lawyer. stop spreading rumors.
Obviously you did not read the other persons post he was not trying to stir anything up. He was just stating some thoughts, Instead of saying someone is spreading rumors read it and quit ASSumming things. LOL
"here IS what he got caught doing" is a statement describing a fact. if he said "here is what I THINK he caught doing" i would have to agree with you. are you stupid? or do i just think you are stupid? see the difference?
Hmm...that's interesting...farmer Mayhem.. maybe you are on to something. Be aware the best bud is grown hydroponically. It's better than bending the plants over and tying them down under tree cover to escape detection from helicopters. Watch that power bill though...a dead give away. You don't want to lose your first crop because of a nosey Ga Power inspector with a cell phone on speed dial to
J. Thomas. You would not like to be a bunkie with that pill pushing politico. Good luck Green Thumb.
Why go after the little guy? I drive through Hill Top often after lunch in Concord on Thursdays. You can see the signals, peoples on da street selling bigtime homemade drugs. Don't ruin the reputation and life of a Concord Commissioner.
Time to call Jesse Jackson.
GOD BLESS CONCORD
Plezze get real! If all medicine has to be in the original bottle then why can you buy pill boxes labeled M-S for daily medications???????
Even nursing homes recommend them, fill them when you pick up a loved one for the weekend. WOW ! Think about your statement, now think about breast milk, original container??????
why go after the little guy? thats how you get to the big guy. you taught your husband lawyer everything he knows? obviously not one of the most successful lawyers. maybe his wife driving around hilltop on her lunch break trying to buy dope has something to do with it! why only thursday? is that the only day you can afford to roll in on payday?

It is a largest business then some must realize
