Volunteers help clear debris, recover possessions and soothe nerves shattered by the twister which packed 140 mph winds.
Two drop offs for donations in Zebulon
Tornados touched down all around Pike early April 28, but the county saw very little damage from the deadly storm. Strong winds tore trees in half along Highway 19 south as tornado-force winds blew the storm into Lamar County where it destroyed several homes and businesses and killed two residents.

Glad to see that people in Pike are helping victims in neighboring counties.
