Inell and Cochran Caldwell’s farm was recently recognized at a Centennial Family Farm. This sharecropper’s house still stands at the farm on its orginal foundation. Cochran Caldwell looks out over the Flint River at the eastern-most part of the farm.




















He'd buy some moon pies, vienna sausages, soda crackers, NeHi sodas and NuGrapes and we'd spend the day catching fish- or not, depending how our luck was running that day. Just being with my daddy and hearing him tell all those wonderful stories about his life was priceless.
Thank you, Mr. Caldwell and thank you, daddy, for giving me memories I wish every young girl could have. Forty years later, I miss those times and I miss my daddy.
