Schools prepare for the worst in budget matters
Pike County school superintendent Dr. Michael Duncan unveiled what he called “the worse case scenario” first draft budget proposal during a workshop March 26 in the auditorium. It would include a pay cut for all employees, including him.
Thanks to all of you for trying to solve the problem also. I didn't captilize their names because I don't feel they deserve it. The reason I put mcmilian's name on the sorry list is because I tried to talk to her several times about an issue I was having and she never responded to my request.
I was turning in my resignation letter back in December and she came out of her office pointing her finger and screaming at me that she didn't have time for all this mess. I called duncan and he never answered my calls and never returned them either.
I had been in the special education department for 7 years, and the teacher I worked with lied and so I resigned,before she told a really big lie on me, she knows who she is.
There was 4 positions opened at the other schools and I was told by mr.gray to resign from my parapro position and reapply for one of those position in which I did only to be told there was a freeze on hiring a week later.
This has got to be stopped and you think going to the board members will help, ugh!! I've talked to 2 of them and no help, so that answers your questions about the board members.
he should be fired and so should duncan and a lot of other nuts they have working in the pike county school system. duncan needs to gather up all of his idiots from clayton and fayette and get the heck out of pike.

If you're so concerned about how much Duncan and his "click" are earning - go to the Human Resource office and find out for yourself. State employee salaries are available for the public. Perhaps if Pike County produced intellegent adults, then you'd have more principals from your precious "homeland". This is a worse case scenario for those of you, who actually read the article. Duncan clearly stated that if the funding was more, then dispersement of funds would follow suit. Please, do us all a favor and think before you make ignorant comments, it would benefit your county.

if u do your job and are there 4 the real reason,which i thought was 4 the students then nobody wants u there. i rocked the boat and was forced into resigning, so i ask u do u really know what's going on or do u just love duncan and his click?
