Why? Are you privy to information even the BOC won't have until maybe tonight? The BOC postponed their vote at the last meeting due to the fact that nothing was shown that this would cut costs.
We know you're not Mr. Sawyer.
the next step, now that the other courts are threatening to "Force" pike county to build a new courthouse is to eliminate them. stop paying them to come here and tell a sovereign county government what they have to do. get out of this new multi-county court region and form our own. one that is beholding to pike county instead of fayette, spalding and upson.
It is about time maybe now we can have a Judge that knows waht they are doing. For I have been in her court and it is clear she does not know what she is doing.
Jack I not sure if the state legislative can pass any type of law to do away with the Probate Court because I do believe it's a constitutional office; but the can do away with the Magistrative Court and replace it with a State Court. The Probate and Magistrate Courts has different duties as you well know.
One of the duties of the Magistrative Court is to act as a small claims court and settle small claims without an attorney.
I just don't believe these courts can be combined.
Maybe the staffs of these courts need to be reduced.
