Capt. Dougie the ext. ladder shown is "NOT" properly extended above the roof line per NFPA safety guidelines. It should be extended a min of (3) rungs above. If you need remedial training call the chief's office. Other than that, good job!
Capt. Neath complied with all safety standards by extending the ladder 3 rungs above the roofline.
(not roof line). The photo was cropped and didn't show the area around the base of the ladder where the wet soil allowed the ladder to sink a mere 3 1/2 inches into the ground when those beefy firefighters ascended to the roof. I'm sure you have known your entire life that 3 1/2 inches is really short. Respond back and inform everyone about your fire science degrees, certificates and firefighting theory. You are a 'paper expert' in putting out fires by simply reading books and having no practical experience. You must be very unhappy.
firebug, turn off the computer, put away the Twinkies and climb up out of your mom's dark basement and see how nice it is outside. Get a girlfriend and relax your hand. All that "typing" must tire you out. Ask mayhem!
My God, who cares Firebug? He put the stinking fire out. I am just an average citizen and that's all I care about.
Doug Neath works his butt off in this community serving the public. His wife does too.
God help you.
Thank you, Doug and Anita, for all you do for Concord and the entire county, day and night. You are appreciated and among the most loved of citizens. Wish there were more like you.
Another imposter...? "firebug" are you including yourself as an imposter? I know I'm right about the ladder...I saw it! You are aware 3 1/2 inches is a handicap, but, it didn't apply regarding ladder position. What were those credentials you used to brag about? Quit criticizing Doug and ALL our loyal and capable "on the scene" firefighters. They deserve praise...NOT criticism! It's a shame. You will never leave your mom's basement. Have a Twinkie and go back to your Mad magazine.
It is so funny that someone uses my name to stir up the volunteers. Actually I think it is great, it has been a little quite here for some time. One thing the little whinny Dougie supporters forget is “safety is no accident”. No one’s safety should be compromised and if anyone condones this behavior they should be given the boot just like Henderson.
Next time make sure proper ground ladder operations are followed and you can save yourself some embarrassment.
Who gives a rats fat @ss if they did a good job? It would not have meant anything if someone got hurt. Right? Think about that.
Firebug, I very rarely post on here and only skim the comments. Quiet is what you'll get from me starting now.
Your posts are, without fail, negative to the extreme so don't think anyone takes you seriously.
Constructive criticism is hard for one to accept and harder for one that lacks knowledge on specific topics. It is probably good you are going to remain quiet because you obviously have nothing to offer on the subject. Leave the fire related issues to the professionals.
Again firebug...what are your credentials? huh? huh?...silence....groan...exposed!
"Leave the fire related issues to the professionals."...we did but our Great Chief Danny got caught up in petty Pike politics. What has firing Danny gotten Pike except saving his well earned salary? come on firebug...lets hear how great you are....hahaha firebug... is a fraud..cuz we know you buddy!
We have Chief Snyder now and so far no complaints. Henderson was and will always be a has been. Petty politics my rear, I am going to take the high road and not get into the Henderson dram, . he is gone and will never be back. I on the other hand will always be here because I am the best of the best.
