Deputies arrest burglars
Pike County sheriff's deputies recently arrested two burglars using walkie-talkies and listening to the sheriff's office transmissions on a radio scanner.

A hot water heater stores and continually heats hot water to maintain a preset temperature. If it did not keep heating the water it would not maintain its temperature. Me personally I need to heat hot water to do dishes and take showers. It also comes in handy for other cleaning chores.
