If you do as you should, you will not be killing a tree. You have it mulched later......that's recycling. If you really want to be correct, plant a baby tree in it's place. God will do the rest.

I think that if I plant a few hunderd trees a year ill cutt down as many as I please. After all I want to know what your doing any ways other than talking bad about something you know nothing about. Its not even about the tree, it's about the family as a whole going out together having fun enjoying being together for the Holidays. So please allow me to kill the poor trees after all I believe I can do as I please with my own property. It's not even for the money but the smiles of families. MERRY CHRISTMAS
