Thirty paper bags packed with canned goods, dry goods, bread and other foods were distributed at the grand opening of the New Pleasant Community Development Corporation. The building on Old Meansville Road in Zebulon has been set up as a food bank and a clothing distributor but the nonprofit group hopes it will offer much more to the community.

people voluntarily helping others is good. people being forced to help others at the expense of their own family is bad.

when people think they have a right to be helped their attitude never changes and they are stuck on assistance their entire lives. when someone helps them voluntarily they have a sense of obligation that makes them desire to better themselves so that they can someday help others.
if you would actually read something in that Bible of yours and understand it instead of just spouting rhetoric, you would even see the Biblical basis for what this economist is saying.
