In October, a Dougherty County man became the first person to die in Georgia from Africanized honeybee stings. Reports say he ran over a feral colony of “killer bees” with his bulldozer and received more than 100 stings.

i see you posting about "white people" all the time. the difference is, it doesn't bother us. we don't run around calling people bigots and racists just because they disagree with us. we take it in stride, learn from it if we are wrong and ignore it if we are not.

you need to check the results of your post. sometimes they don't post because you get the spam code wrong.

You are absolutely right. I have had plenty of posts not posted. You have to fit Geiger's idea of how he wants to portray HIS news stories. Like that poor little white girl who was filmed by that firefighter. Truth of the matter is she was driving under the influence. He doesnt seem to want the public to know about that. And that is pretty powerful information. When you see a car wreck on the news the first bit of information is the cause of the crash. But not in this paper. Why not? This is the perfect example of how this paper covers a story. It sure does put a negative twist on the story knowing alcohol was involved. Cant have that now can we? He must go to church with her family. Then any mention about local computer store owner Ben Hobby being a child sex offender is also not posted easily. The Journal used to list sex offenders in the paper to protect the public until he made the list. Then they quit doing it. He must be another Pike hero or pays to advertise his business in the paper. Or both. So them two facts alone show they protect child molesters and people who share the road with you and your family that are under the influence. The more I read articles on here I realize they are quite incomplete. Even simple facts are left out to make everything look like a brady bunch episode. News is about truth. No matter how ugly. People want to be informed on as much fact as possible about the story. Who cares about public opinion if you only get to see the opinions that Geiger wants you to hear. Again it is getting half the story. Walter's view of Pike County. I have heard enough of his view. If people are not using profanity, or threatening peoples lives or safety it should be posted. As a journalist you think he would be familiar with freedom of speech. If you can not handle public opinion you need to find something else to do then blog. Out of all the blogs I participate in this one is the only one that wants to keep its Alice in wonderland image. And if Geiger keeps giving everyone the Juan Williams treatment it will stay like that. Why I wasted my time typing this I do not know. Lord knows it wont be posted. After all it does not portray any of Walter Geiger's opinions or views. So therefor it is definitely deserving of the Juan Williams treatment. Isnt that right Walter? You need to man up or start writing childrens fairy tales. That way they will all have that happy ending you so badly want in all your stories. And if someone makes a comment that they do not like your story give them that Juan treatment and do not post it. After all, thats what you do.

What does it matter what the girl was doing when she was killed? Would you feel better if they write her a ticket for DUI? That does not justify an idiot taking pictures of her and passing it around the bar. Get over your black/white problem. That horse has been "rode" to death. Ride the illegal immigrant horse for a while. If you work, you pay for them. Your post probably are not posted because you do not key the code correctly. I would almost bet on it. If they can send people into space, support the entire military, provide police and firemen, keep the roads maintained, send kids to school, provide health care to the poor, maintain public buildings, maintain the city and county, provide food stamps to the hungry, help needy family, and all the other things society does with MY tax money, they are not only miracle workers but quite smart with handling money. Talk about feeding a mob of people with one fish! You need to find you a religion that puts humanity over money Sheila. The one you follow has you cold, greedy, and full of hate. Actually you are in worse shape then a witch. I am not worried about helping support illegal immigrants. They are probably just another test God has put in place for his followers. Will they be treated in a Christian manner or will people act like Sheila and go Satan on them? They are my brothers and sisters and I have no problem helping them if I can make there time on this earth better for them and their families. I understand how you self proclaimed Christians think you are better than other people either by the color of your skin or where you were born. And I understand how you worry about your precious money. These immigrants are coming here for the opportunity to better themselves. For a better life for their children. Some make more of a sacrifice to get into this country than any American will make to succeed in it. What is there some kind of loophole in your faith that makes you think you have the right to control an illegal immigrants life? To judge them and say what they should be able to do and not do. They have enough barriers to contend with already. They do not need fake Christians riding them also. They are Gods children and God sees how you treat them. You sure make Gods job easy. You haters fail the most simple tests in your lifetime. But it makes sense to me. Thats why the Bible states that few will be chosen. And who really thinks they are part of that few that will go to heaven? If you have a hard time at the gates run that "I believe in living by grace" line past him. While you were memorizing your Bible, do you recall anything about abiding by the Laws of the land? (Romans 13: 1,2. With all the money America sends Mexico for there illegal drugs you think they would be able to take care of their own. Maybe that is the agreement.
