Get ready for Relay
On Oct. 14 the Pike County Relay for Life committee held a wrap-up meeting at the middle school media center. They recapped the 2010 Relay and made preliminary plans for 2011.

You ask them for money last year to support your fireworks show so you might want to attend the meeting on November 18. The early bird gets the golden biscuit.

JC, I have some pyrotechnics left over from Labor Day. I will give them to you free of charge. Just please don't ask hard working ladies for a handout, they have a program and direction. If the Fire Chief will premit it I will drop them off at Williamson Fire House. Peace Brother.
