A vigil held in honor of murder victim Donna Ogletree Johnson drew a crowd of about 150 people to the Lamar County courthouse Sunday afternoon.

Those in attendance prayed for closure for the family and signed balloons which were released in Donna's memory.

I attended the vigil for Donna. Her spirit is definitely alive and well.

Rhoda and I were there. No they did not play any songs by The Pretenders. BUT they played an absolutely beautiful song written by Bill Ferguson. The title is "Donna, We'll Never Forget."

It was a wonderful ceremony. This week's paper should be very good.

Why do you ask, do you work for the IRS? If so, go to Teen Challenge Hill and try and intercept one of those brown commissioner bags. That should bring the debt of the taxpayers of Pike County taxes down a notch or two.

Why don't everyone just shut the hell up and move on and let her family live some kind of normal life without all these constant reminders, Shelia the girl is DEAD do you know the meaning of the word, If her spirit is anywhere lets hope she is with Jesus.
I know for a fact her spirit ain't alive and well and every time you say her name you are stopping her for crossing over to her reward.You sound like some kind necromancer are you talking to her regularly and if so ask her to solve her murder and get out of here.

I just want to know how much of a supporter you really are. You can say anything. But start supporting her cause with cash. That way we know how how serious you are. I was told you do not even own a Donna T-Shirt. As far as Teen Challenge I have no issues. Anyone taking on the task of turning around troubled teens is an ace in my book.

molly brown, it must be comforting to your family that you think so little of them. just to know that they would be so easily forgotten if one of them were murdered like donna. must be heartwarming to your family that you wouldn't fight for justice.

Amen Ms. Molly Brown!!! If more time were spent bringing
pressure to bear on politicians to convene a grand jury
and less time on lighting candles, this sorry matter (and
the memory of Donna Johnson)might enjoy some closure.

What's lighting candles and singing Cumbaya got to do with fighting for justice? When the "touchy/feely" crowd in Pike County who think they can blog the murder(s) to death finally get out of the way of those who will force the issue with the politicians, then we might see some results. If enough people turn up enough heat (not from candles, those currently putting up roadblocks will remove them. Pike County, you need to "MAN UP". Putting it another way, "BUCK UP OR STAY IN THE TRUCK"!

Who are you praying for Sheila Tolley? Surely you are
not praying for Donna Johnson! When her soul departed
this old world, she went to a place where your pathetic
big mouth can neither harm nor help her. Perhaps you are
"praying" for the Ogletree family. As Ms. Brown so aptly
put it, they probably wish you would "shut the hell up"
and give them some peace!

Being called "idiotic" and "rude" by an egomaniac
like you is hardly relevant. If I were less of a
gentleman, I would tell you where to take you big
mouth and where to put it when you arrived there.
Then again, I suspect at least some of your several

This is what her supporters have been wasting there time doing for the past 26 years. I do not think they have a clue what can be done to help solve the case. I hear they are going to have an all you can eat barbecue next week in her honor. Some slowly smoked pork. That should really get things going. Bet there will be twice the people at that one.

Hey Sheila Tolley. For the record, I have spent vacation and business time in a large majority of the states of the union after completing my college education in the City of Atlanta. I have been as far west as the West Coast, as far north as the Canadian border, as far east as Bermuda and as far south as Key West.

Members of my family were among the very first white settlers in Pike arriving in the early 1820's. Those same people participated in the establishment of the County.
We are basically a quite people not prone to inject our opinions into every subject and/or issue known to man.
We recognize most people take the position "You must have me confused with somebody who cares what you think".
Now Sheila Tolley, tell the world all about your pedigree.
I know you are absolutely dying to do so!

My family has been here since before 1790.

Personally I think a lot of Sheila. She's smart, funny, fun to be around, and as a friend of mine said all those girls are real pretty.
( Referring to Sheila and her sisters.)

Another thing is she isn't scared to use her name. That adds credibility to her statements.

In the first place I have lost two nephews to citified deer hunters who can't tell a man from a deer so you can shut up. Also someone has to be caught and charged with her murder before you can hope for justice, I am sure she left alot of memories for her family to smile and remember her by instead of her murder.They need to be able to live their lives without headlines and enjoy their memories of her.
