Here is a free-for-all posting opportunity on sports: Trojans, Pirates, Dogs, Jackets, Falcons, Braves - you name it!

My brief thoughts:

The Pirates and the Trojans will both make the playoffs. The competition there will be much tougher than it is in Region 4AA.

I am concerned about the Pirates. If you just lost your "best athlete" to limp wrist syndrome, it doent sound like the future of the team is too bright.

i think my dawgs will be lucky to win 4 games this year. they will have to improve considerably to have a better season.

i think until they stop recruiting thugs and set higher standards than the ncaa requires, they will continue to have issues.

you can't spend all spring training a player to play a position only to have him ineligible.

if the dawgs only win 4 richt will be unemployed.

They are thugs now. The only reason u know their name is because they are on the football team. I am a UGA grad and trust me their are many UGA students that get in trouble in Athens u just don't hear their name because only a small percent is on the football and basketball team. I bet u have never set foot in Athens Victor. The only VSmith I know in Pike.

The Pirates.....two game changers have been lost. It's not the end of the world, but the Pirates are looking over the edge of the cliff. It is up to the team if they want to step it up a notch and make the playoffs. Four game remain and we need 3 out of 4 to make a statement of who we are. I challenge the Pirates to open a can of whoop____ and proceed with the beatings !

UGA Dawgs.....1 and 4 is unexceptable. Coach Mark Richt needs to get off the no-doze and drink some high-octane coffee before the game. I want to see emotion on the sidelines. Tired of watching a funeral procession on the sidelines. Lead your team out of the tunnel with your fist pumping high in air like you CARE ! I love the Dawgs....but the dawgs ain't loving me. We have met the enemy.....and the enemy is us ! Time to turn it around Mark. Go DAWGS !

Falcons....have shown playoff caliber of play but they have not won me over yet. If they stay healthy, the division could be theirs. They have always been a Jekyl-Hyde type of team. Consistency will be the key to a successful season.

Braves....they must get hot with the bats. Jones and Prado are game changers and they will not be able to change the game accept as being good cheerleaders. Bobby Cox deserves a chance to compete in one more W.S. We will beat the Giants, but the Phillies are to hot and to strong. Phillies will rein as champions once again. Just my opinion on the teams....don't take it to the bank.

Actually, I attended Harvard on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors.

I'm sure that you are so perfect that you've never made a typo. If we could all just be as perfect and as great an athlete as you oh and I'm guessing as great a follower of God as well based on the name and tone of your posts, the world would be so much better. NOT!!!

With all the ways of generating money in this land of opportunity, a job would be the last choice I would choose for revenue. I had a "job" earlier in life and somehow felt like a slave myself. When I spoke to my mentor he laughed. "You will never get rich by working" still sticks in my head. With those words I am sitting in a good place today. Which makes me think of something else he quoted. "Time is money". And as you can probably tell by my bloging, I have plenty of it. A job? In the land of opportunity? Now you folks got me figured out to be a Jewish Mexican.

Mothers purse? I have never stole money out my mothers purse. I have been given money out of many purses. But certainly did not have to steal it. If you have to pay for drugs you are on the wrong side of the fence. The best things in life are free.
