Pirates overcome Vikings

The Pike County Pirates traveled to Macon Friday to play the First Presbyterian Day Vikings. The two teams battled back and forth with the Pirates coming out on top after a 4th quarter 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Tommy Smith secured the victory.

Listened to the pirates on 101.1 FM online. Way to go pirates! Got to hear our awesome band play for a second or two when the announcer wasn't saying anything. Sounds good.

The Pike Patriot Homeowner built a fire under these boys. He got them out of momas soccer SUV's and on school buses like the rest of the students. Got to give the biscuit baker some credit even if it was only 1 point in overtime.
Didn't he and his wife work for the BOE?
