Meansville Baptist celebrates 125 years
Meansville Baptist Church will celebrate 125 years of fellowship and worship at their Homecoming service Sunday, Aug. 29. The church was started in 1885 in Old Meansville, with 21 families from Mount Zion Baptist Church in Piedmont. They bought a lot for $20 from John Means and built the first building for Meansville Baptist Church.

This is a quaint little church that looks so inviting. I do believe if this church was set off the road a bit on a 100 parcel, near a meadow you could call it “Heaven?”
