Griffin Judicial Circuit District Attorney, Scott Ballard will hold a news conference Friday, June 11 at 2 p.m. on the front steps of the Fayette County Justice Center to announce the results of the investigation into allegations of an inappropriate relationship between former Griffin Judicial Circuit Superior Court Chief Judge Paschal A. English, Jr. and a member of the Public Defender’s Office.

Don't know where else to put it. I would like to thank Commissioner Don Collins and Commissioner Roosevelt Willis. These two had the courage to stand tall and attempt to keep Code Enforcement a vital part of county government. Pike has lost.

Well, how about that---- DA Press Conference Friday afternoon during the summer time, no questions to be asked. That there would be what ya call a Whitewash !!!

Check out the Georgia Department of Labor Griffin Office, ask for Dawn. Obama has extended the benefits to over one year. They have free classes on preparing resumes, day work, keeping a work diary and dress for success. Staff is available to assist in the food stamp program. The office is right there near Lowe's. Good Luck.

I would like to thank Tommy Powers for standing tall against approval of Teen Challenge. If only that had been left alone after it was INITIALLY VOTED DOWN, we would have had more time for county officials to work on Pike County issues instead of Florida's.

Winnie, we understand former judge Killingsworth and her grandchild have applied for unemployment benefits eventhough they were removed from office by Judge Caldwell on charges. Not sure if a person is eligible for unemployment benefits if the county cannot pay her salary in the first place. She should run that by Steve Marro, Rob Morton or Douglas Mangham. We wish her success in whatever career choice she makes.

Pike Patriot Homeowner you of all peoples should delete your smart remarks about the price of brown sugar in Upson County. But then again you speak with experience here in Pike County. It sure cost you a lot.
