Local medics honored for saving life

Paramedics provide care for patients while transporting them to the hospital, and sometimes that means fighting to keep them alive along the way. Paramedic Robert Ridgeway and EMT Gene Harvey of Zebulon's Mid Georgia Ambulance station were recently presented with a Save Award for their efforts to keep a woman's heart pumping after it stopped twice in the ambulance.

THEY NEVER CALL THEMSELVES HEROS. THEY ARE AMAZING AT WHAT THEY DO AND IM VERY GRATEFUL THAT WE HAVE THEM HERE IN PIKE. YOU ALL DESERVE METALS AND TO BE CALLED HEROS.

Good job guys. FYI, if you want to keep being respected in the community don't get mixed up with the fire department. Their leader is anti EMS and is like a cancer.

Looks like total crap to me, Why any idiot would want a tatoo is beyond me. Its stupid. My two cents.

Times change. I remember when I got my ears pierced. My Mama wigged out. If I had gotten a tattoo, I guess she would have cut off my head, had it shrunken and placed it on the mantle as a warning to other family members.

I saw an interesting tatoo last night at graduation for Pike High.

Butterfly - big and green and right in the cleavage. Flapped it's wings with every step that girl took.

Paramedics, police men and military servicemen are often taken for granted by citizens until they are being saved by them. It is great to know that they are being rewarded for their great services.

Ya'll better hold onto your socks. Chief Henderson is working for a ambulance service as an EMT. He is finally employed. Watch out he will bring the big city ambulance service to Pike.

He has a tat also. Go Danny Go!!!!!

Good for him wonder if he will become a real EMS provider and get his paramedic certificate?
