Pirates advance to Elite 8, host No. 1 team

The Pike County Pirates advanced to the Elite 8 by sweeping the Buford Wolves 7-2 and 5-4. This is the first time the Pirates have been to the Elite 8 since 2005 when they were defeated by West Augusta in two games.
