A report emanating from Fayette County indicates a contentious divorce case there may be at the crux of the demand earlier this week by the Judicial Qualifications Commission for the mandatory resignation of Judge Johnnie Caldwell.

In case you haven't figured it out, she has him on tape making a proposition to get that case settled once and for all. He wanted her to blow in his ears.
It was indeed sad when we were given this unfiltered forum to bash a person's reputation or on the other hand to defend it. In most of these statements, I have seen glass houses being shattered and non truth's or rumors being given. There will never be closure when the final truth is revealed, because some people will "beat this dead horse" until there comes a new cause to jump on.
Must have been a good court reporter to keep the machine turned on until they remember to say, oh we're off the record or he exited the bench. Therefore, any and all things said are recorded and or on video and are part of transcript.
What we have here is an ANONYMOUS that can communicate. I told you there was one out there that was intelligent. I may develop an Anonymous respect after reading some of these new Anonymous comments.
It's going to be very interesting to see who the Govenor appoints as interim judges until the November election. Judge Edwards was the only one of the four up for reelection this year. This means that the Griffin Circuit could have three new judges come Jan. 2011,
It's impossible for voters to be acquainted with all candidates, and we must look at their
campaign materials as a bit of BS mixed with good PR. Therefore, it is imperitive that the
media do some digging and advise us of facts
re all candidates!
I assume that Susan Brown's close allies (Gary
Freed, Jim Webb,etc.) won't be seeking these
offices. Likewise, Johnnie Caldwell, Jr.'s
good buddy, Alan Connell. Of course, Brown and
Connell may be able to retire off legal fees for representing Mr./Mrs. Crook all these many months.
So the reporting here is based on heresay and rumor, and not facts, correct?
The Pike County Commissioners?
The Superior Court judges?
Lawyers?
The Governor?
Your Mama?
Your Baby-Daddy?
The Pike County Board of Education?
A committee of Pastors of local Churches?
The Pike County Journal-Reporter and affiliated entities do a very good job of providing a public forum.
