More than a hundred concerned citizens filled the front lawn of the Pike County courthouse for the Tax Day Tea Party Protest as American flags waved in the evening breeze April 15. Speakers talked about government control, health care reform, the federal deficit and the history and future of our nation.

Health care reform is long overdue in our nation. It took the guts of Obama to make our dream happen. These 100 so called tea people wasted their time and energy. Thanks to the dems our country is headed finally in the right direction after 8 years of Bush.

Finally...a state takes a stand for American citizens. Do yourself and America a favor and vacation in Arizona. They are being boycotted because they took a stand against illegal immigrants . Tea parties, slumber parties, birthday parties,etc. Do it in Arizona.

JC does not like to hear what local outstanding citizen John Hoover has to say. Appears JC is about to ban Mr. Hoover for speaking out on the fireworks issue. JC only allows favorable opinions to him on his site.
JC should try something he knows something about rather than baking biscuits. It ---- sure is not the fire department or District 1.

This wasn't a Clayco or downtown Atlanta protest. These were educated people not thugs, unemployed, uneducated welfare moochers. They did not pee on the lawn either just in case you are wondering. So relish that fact your democrap president is in office for now, because it will be short lived.

Parrish Swift and his brother Roosevelt Willis want to throw Bill Sawyer $85,400 + benefits and automobile and one year to decide if he wants to move to Pike County. Please all voters in District 1 and District 2 show Parrish and Roosevelt the way to Ellaville. They might need two dumb bums alot more than we do.
