My 10th-grade science teacher did not inspire me to become a scientist. But he did inspire others in our class and some did become scientists.

Parents are paying these so called 'educators' salaries to do this to their own children, right under their noses, and they don't even realize it.
They trust the schools are taking care of their children.
HMPH !!!!
To the parents with kids making good grades, all this is because the standards have been greatly 'dumbed down' so the kids can pass the tests and the schools can GET MORE MONEY
That's ALL it is about now.
Lots of kids are going into colleges having to drop out becuase the things they have to learn in college are too hard for them.
There are lots of reports from colleges stating they can't believe how ill equipped high school students are when they enter college.
Schools are SUPPOSE to get kids ready for college, but they DON"T.
They could care less if the children learn anything or not.
Teachers are flying out of the profession left and right. MOST teachers leave the field within the first 5 years, this has been proven.
