Thompson murder trial postponed

The murder trial of Adrian O'Neal Thompson that was scheduled to begin Monday, Feb. 15 in Pike superior court has been continued again.

The 100 potential jurors summoned to appear in court that date have been excused.

"The trial was postponed after Thompson's public defender, Tammy Jacobs, demanded a jury trial on whether or not her client's vision, hearing and mental competency are adequate for him to receive a fair trial."

He saw, heard, and understood well enough to use a gun to shoot somebody to death.
What was the question?

oh good LAWWWW!! They will do ANYTHING to get out of paying for their crimes! Wow I can't believe Virgil Brown isn't on this case LOL

I'm not sure if that's a crack at Popeye or Vietnam Veterans. I'm hoping it's not the latter. There were a lot of uncles, brothers and fathers that never quite recovered from Vietnam; and many that didn't come back at all - so choose another way to make fun of a guy without speaking of our veterans in a negative way; they did the best they could for Uncle Sam - can you say that about yourself?
