A group of 10 train passengers have to decide which train to take in "Tracks" a one-act play written by Peter Tarsi and directed by Joan Thomas. Pike County's cities are working to cut costs and streamline budgets before voting on millage rates. Zebulon will adopt their 2011 budget Oct. 26. Two public hearings will be held at city hall at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and after the evening hearing, council will call a meeting to adopt the budget.

A vigil held in honor of murder victim Donna Ogletree Johnson drew a crowd of about 150 people to the Lamar County courthouse Sunday afternoon.
