Mrs. Ione Leone Kleinschmidt Jackson, age 88, of Williamson, passed away March 7, 2015. She was born in St. Cloud, MN, daughter of the late Fred Kleinschmidt and Veronica Deters Kleinschmidt. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Griffin, the Senior’s Center in Zebulon and the Red Hatters. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed gardening, yard sales, reading, puzzling, and playing Bunco. She never met a stranger, had a positive outlook, and was always energetic and friendly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ray Jackson, a son, Donald Jackson and her sister, Loraine Hengel.

Mrs. Nina Mae Vaughn Anderson, age 78, of Concord, passed away March 5, 2015. She was born in Oak Park, Ga., daughter of the late James William Vaughn and Annie Mae Riner Vaughn. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, gardening, canning and fishing. She was the best cook and loved having family gatherings. She made everyone’s favorite dishes, and there was always extra to take home. Nina Mae welcomed people in her home and had an impact on everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Franklin Anderson Sr., sisters and a brother, Nancy Roberts, Eva Sinclair, Sarah Lamb, Barbara Perdue, Grace Daring, Edna Powell and Jimmy Vaughn, Jr.
