Burousas ordered to cooperate

Coweta Circuit Judge Quillian Baldwin worked with attorneys last week to determine a timeline for starting Teresa Burousas’ murder trial, tentatively set for Sept. 19. Burousas is charged with the July 2009 fatal shooting of her husband Jimmy “Buzz” Burousas outside the couple’s home in Concord. Burousas has been incarcerated in the Upson County since the incident. Judge appointed to Burousas murder case
One of Pike County’s most recent murder cases is a step closer to coming to trial after a judge was recently appointed to the Teresa Burousas case. Judge A. Quillian Baldwin Jr. of the Coweta Judicial Circuit will preside over the murder trial. A date has not yet been set for the proceedings.
