Members of the Zebulon city council showed support for the 2016 Zebulon Steak Out event by approving funds for first, second and third place prizes and discussed the final stages of the city’s TE project. The Zebulon Steak Out event broke even last year, with 10 cooks in the competition and many enjoying the city’s park. Mayor Bobby Blalock noted the event drew a lot of attention to the city park and it was approved unanimously.
