Two sisters, ages two and four, died in a house fire Tuesday morning. The fire at a mobile home at Ponderosa Mobile Home Park on Patterson Road in north Spalding County broke out shortly after 7:30 a.m.

I am so sorry to hear this. I am praying for this family and for the little ones who lost their lives. They are in the hands of God now and he will protect them.

Pike fire chief Danny Henderson. Yes a fulltime paid Barnesville and Lamar County firefighters with all the firehouse 24/7. New Lamar County fire authority in Barnesville. I'm sorry Pike fire chief Danny Henderson. No fulltime paid Pike County firefighter.

Whoever you are, do you think this is funny? Two children DIED in this fire. You have got a serious problem and it isn't just with Chief Henderson. I feel embarrased for you.

I must be missing something. The only thing I took away from comment #3 is that our taxpayer funded English teachers are failing us miserably . . .

This has nothing to do with Pike or Lamar county. Two beautiful little children were burned too death and all you can do is try and make a joke.
I hope you find your heart somewhere,but I seriiously doubt you even have one.
To the families of these two Angels my prayers are with you all.

Last year ago. One died in a house fire in Barnesville. and? 5 years ago. One died in a car fire near I 75.
