Sometimes we have to be brave enough to state the obvious without fear of Newton's law or paradox or even being wrong. It is cold outside.
I awoke this morning to a thermometer seemingly frozen on 22 degrees and a weatherman telling me not to expect much more.
It's cold outside

Andrew, the black dog nips at my heels every winter. I make it a daily practice to exercise outdoors as early as possible, dressing in layers with a good hat. Your eyes need that sunlight with the sun hanging so low on the horizon. We no longer have drapes and chairs for reading, computer, etc. are near windows. Keep some snappy music going and invest in lightbulbs that simulate the sun. We have a sunrise simulator for each morning as well as a light therapy box for times when the sun doesn't shine for days at a time. They were good investments. Keep moving. Instead of curling up when it gets cold, use it to your advantage and get active. It's a excellent mood lifter.
