Who wrote this article......or was it a release from some nuckle head in the fd that wants to look impressive? PCES, search and rescue? What search & rescue. Searching for victims is part of BASIC Firefrighting 101. PCSO was there, the sheriff's office is a policing agency and not the police. The city of Zebulon have police. And they were not there. This artice was minor in nature and alot of filler to make it sound very IMPRESSIVE. So sad
Since you ran your mouth where is the FLUFF what was wrote up so bad in this article? That the Fire Department had a good response time? And they were there to help salvage some things? Where and how is this Fluff and Filler? Lets hear it? I can only imagine who you are but what we probably know. LOL
JF, the "police" were there. A uniformed off-duty Zebulon PD officer stopped to assist. As for your other worry, the article wasn't written by anyone from the FD. It was already up before everyone was done with the fire. The FD did put out a press release for basic information and so forth. Nothing self important or fluffy there. Rest easy.
If a person HAD been hurt in this incident, you smart allecks would be the first to cry, "slow response time." Give people credit when they deserve it.
Way to go, Pike County firefighters, search and rescue teams, Pike sheriff's deputies and police.
Merry Christmas to all and Happy Birthday to Jesus.
