White House economic adviser Larry Summers says that everyone can agree the recession is over and Americans have “walked back from the brink,” as experts predict that the unemployment rate could climb higher.

If it has ended, then there would be no reason for the gov't to borrow money. Since 1$ trillion passes the federal limit, isn't this against their own law and they should be prosecuted?
THe whole thing is outrageous and it seems that there should be something that WE the PEOPLE could do to stop this mess. It is OUR gov't!!!
You can't tell me it's ended.
One of my brothers lost his job over 6 months ago and can't find another one. My uncle lost his too, can't find another one.
One of my daughters has been searching since July. My other brother and his girlfriend can't find jobs either.
For the people that have jobs, be GLAD you have it and be blessed. I know with the way people are mean and hostile today, that EVERY job has bad things we have to endure.
So sad all around.

There is no recession here in Pike County. We might even have extra to help Obama and his federal government. Yes we are blessed to have Marro and a BOC that controls our budget.
Hell, we can even afford to pay volunteers from Clayco Fire Department to watch over us.

Fire Tax due December 20th.

people who are so quick to blame the 11 month old obama administration for the problems of the world are to lazy to research the actual reason. you cant have it both ways...it is more likely that the members of congress who have been driving this country off of a cliff for the last several decades are to blame...and since obama was to "inexperienced" and had not served in office long enough to be qualified for his post - he can not be responsible for decades of poor decisions by our elected officials. he is just a convenient scapegoat for the intellectually challenged.

If he was inexperienced...he should not have put himself in the running for such an important job. They are like "The Clampett's" gone to Washington." If he is a scapegoat for the intellectually challenged, he is his own scapegoat. I would rather have Tiger Woods than the obama gang. Be sure and vote for President Goat. He will not be landsliding in this time. If they find his birth certificate, he would be taken out of office now. I love you!

My name is Milley.... I live in a fence out by the road. I have a little house I can call my own.... It shelters me from the rain, wind, snow, cold and heat but no electricity to call my own. I live all alone..... No~one to comfort me at all..... I have little regrets for I have a life where ppl come feed me a little bit of rice...... I have a path out by the mailbox where I sometimes walk...... Where I am waiting for a check.... To my surprise I find that mailbox empty, Yet again obama forgot my electric check!!!!!!!!!!!

The man didnt get to where he is now without common sense. He isnt sitting at his computer in his comfy home here in pike county blogging about how he knows exactly what will fix the nations problems. he has real decisions to make. and when he makes them he is responsible for more than just himself. it is much easier to sit back and judge without ever knowing if you would be right or not. you dont want that responsibility, so have a little more respect for someone with that huge burden on his shoulders. you dont have to agree with him, but he does not have an easy job...
