The 11-12 Pike cheerleaders include Brooke Butler, Claire Black, Bailey Hubbard, Brooke Brock, Emily England, Payton Crawford, Mckenzie Byrd, Melanie Windham, Bethany Flowers, Savannah Byrd, Meghan Warren, Maci Ridgeway, Gabby Tejedor, Michaela Lowe, Taylor Smith and Peyton Thayer.
Pirate cheerleaders head to nationals
The 11-12 Pirate cheerleaders earned trophies at three competitions this season, earning a berth at the National competition in Charleston, S.C.

I have a very special niece on this team who I know for a fact has worked very hard and for that I am very proud of her (and her mother)! Her team has practiced countless hours to perfect their cheers so this is a well-deserved honor. I think it's also only appropriate to acknowledge the mother's / parent's who also allowed this to happen by donating their hours away from home to rally behind their girls! GO TEAM!

My daughter, Michaela, is a part of this wonderful squad. Her father, sister and I are so proud of her and all of the girls!! All of their hard work has paid off!!!! Who are we....PC!!

I am the lucky coach of this team--these girls are amazing. We have worked so hard this season. I cant wait to go to Nationals--we are gonna rock. I want to thank all the parents for all the support this year. Girls -you are wonderful--I love you all. This is first year to take a rec level team all way to National comp--I am so lucky to be a part of these special girls lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all do a great job and have fun. Don't grow up and be like the HS cheerleaders. They believe they are better than their peers and sneer and make fun of them.

I am one of the members on this team and I think that we have worked sooo hard. I also, think Heather and Kim are the best coaches I have ever had, and they have made me learn that I can't be afraid of everything. I love everyone on this team we are going to rock nationals! LETS ROCK THIS THING!!!!

I am one of the members of the squad and I want to thank everybody that supported and believed in us. I would like to thank Coach Heather and Coach Kim for helping us get to Nationals. WE WILL ROCK IT OUT!!! LETS DO IT!!
