As posted in comments on Greta's article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska . I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I'm about to mention here.

I hope she does win the republican nomination. And Im sure it will turn out just as it did in 2008 when she lost the election for McCain. Palin 2012!!!

How absurd to cast your precious vote based on anyone's gender, skin color, or any physical attribute. Our society's "media" has corrupted our thinking - if it looks good, sounds good it must BE good. How foolishly blind we are! Mrs. Palin, time and time again has proven what you see is what you get. Mr. Obama hasn't proven anything other than he can read off of a teleprompter and if he has to wing it he's lost and lets his mouth show his true "colors". We have let an ear tickler invade one of the most powerful seats in our nation and we all (even our grandchildren) will reap the rotten harvest of his efforts. Pray that we will survive these 4 years and in 2012 let the best God sent person win!!!
