Chief Warrant Officer II Michael Lee returned back to the states after an 11 month deployment to Iraq as an Apache helicopter pilot. He flew 98 missions during his deployment and proudly flew the Pike County High School flag on every mission.
Way to go Michael. I have known Michael and his family for as long as I can remember and I know his mom, dad and sister are very proud of him. Next time you go through Concord stop by and shack his dad's hand at the Greenleaf Station and let him know that your appreciate what these people are doing for us.
Thanks for you devotion to our wonderfull country. With prayers to all our solders and there families that are left behind never knowing what the out come will be. I solute you Micheal and all whom are like you. Again thanks from the bottom of our hearts. Also thanks Mr and Mrs Lee for raising such a fine young man.
I have not met you or your family but I have relatives in the service and know some (not all) of the worry that families go through, not to mention, the situations you service men are faced to deal with. I want to tell you what I tell every military person I meet. I thank you for your courage and your proud service to our country. Without men like you "Where would we be"?
I hope you enjoy your Christmas home with your family. God Bless You.
