forget global warming? I don't know much about it, but some say it's a gov't hoax, but I don't know why the gov't would do this.
Drought? With the news stating there's a flood warning for today in ATL (again?)
I'm at the Lamar?Pike line and I was out of town from Friday to Sunday, so I dont' know how much rain has been here. It's been raining here since last night, thought.
Politicians who favor "big government" want us all to be terrified of this "manmade global warming" theory and such, so we will run to them for help, then they can create more government to regulate it, and then tax everyone for doing so. And just that is in the process of happening now, if it doesn't get stopped.
I hear algore has made a fortune off of this. I prefer to believe in common sense, and look in a good ole almanac, to see how the earth has warmed and cooled dramatically in cycles over the past centuries. Remember, the ocean used to come all the way up to Crawford county. Go look in the sand pits at the sharks teeth and seashells if you doubt me. Must have been some kind of heat then.
Dunn Road is closed at Pitts Road due to road flooding/washout.

I dont see the connection. How does the rain prove global warming is a hoax? Global warming produces more than just drought...it includes eratic weather of all types. If anything, the rain helps prove the case.
