After Georgia defeated Georgia Tech Saturday and South Carolina routed Clemson, punsters are now referring to Saturday's ACC title game as the battle for fourth place in the SEC East.

As Paul is leaving Sanford and Son Stadium at Paul Johnson Field next time, maybe he will be asking himself why he has to pay full price when he and thousands of others leave the game early.
I will be in Tampa Saturday if he would like to meet me.
And by the way, Tech is # 10 in the BCS. I have been looking but so far have not been able to locate UGA in any of the polls. I think they dropped out after week 5 and haven't been seen since....
UGA week by week - 13, 21, 23, 21, 18, -, -, -, -, -, -, -, - (one more game to play, if any bowls will have them)
Tech week by week- 15, 15, 14, -, 25, 22, 19, 12, 11, 10, 7, 7, 10 (two more games to play)
No, they just fell like a rock to a very average UGA team. Look at the teams UGA lost to when they fell last year. Those teams were a lot better than the two teams GT lost to this year.
Why Walter, funny how you failed to write anything about your beloved Dogs' season until now. I've been reading your pathetic excuse for an editorial ever since you took over this fine paper and I must say, it's always amusing to see the word vomit that you consistently produce. Keep it up! I assume you were a top grad from that beloved Grady School!
P.S. I'm not degrading your win by any means, job well done by CMR. Can't say the same for you.
Congrats to GT on a fine year. 10-2 speaks well for your program and Head Coach Paul Johnson. I hate to bust the Tech fans bubble, but here's the raw truth. Your 10-2 Jackets record would be equivalent to a 6-6 record in the SEC. I wish the JACKETS well in the ACC Championship this Saturday Night in Tampa. A friend of mine offered me tickets to go to the game and I had to decline because I'm choosing to stay in the comforts of my home to watch the SEC and National Championship between the FLORIDA GATORS and the CRIMSON TIDE of ALABAMA. Two very fine teams that have defined the SEC for the past two years as perrineal powers of College Football. The ACC is no where close in terms of an elite conference. The SEC is by far the best conference in the nation. Just as the ACC is the best conference in Basketball, but that's another story. I'm just stating the facts as I see them.
Georgia Fans are always arrogant. Anyone can be a UGA Fan. It is easy to jump on that band wagon. Tech Fans are a special breed.
UGA deserved to win this past Saturday. They played their best game of the season. It took them playing that well to beat Tech. Tech played one of the worst games of the season. The best team did not win. I was at the game and their was not one UGA fan in Bobby Dodd Stadium that did not think Tech would march down the field and win. Matter of fact, I bet every UGA fan watching on TV thought the same thing.
ACC VS SEC
Boy what a bunch of bull.
The only powers in the SEC are Flordia and Alabama. Everyone in the conference is average at best.
The best teams in the ACC are Tech and Virginia Tech. Just like the SEC everyone else is average. Tech went 2-1 against the SEC this year. In the last 2 years they are 5-1.

If winning one game defines your season then congrats to UGA. Tech on the other hand still has business to attend to.
Tech kicks off this Satuday at 8:00, tell me again what time the UGA game starts???

It is however the first win for UGA over a top 10 team in two seasons.
You sound like a typical SEC fan (Slugs & Ex Cons).......

Interesting how tech barely manages to beat UGA like once every 6 or 7 years, then their fans get all arrogant. Amusing.
