Please pray for the swelling in the brain to go down and for Greg's collapsed lung as well. This congregation invites us frequently for special events and Pastor Greg is a true delight.
The SUV crossed into Greg's side of road near the Mega Maze on Williamson Rd. Very close to the by-pass. I don't have any details on the other driver. I would think the SUV sustained far less damage.
We were supporters of SPLOST and it did not pass. Pike County Vounteers do not stay at the station 24 hours. Yes fulltime paid Barnesville and Lamar County firefighters with all the fire house manned 24 hours and 7 days. Barnesville and Lamar County firefighters staying at the station 24 hours and 7 days. Firefighters save 3 or 5 minutes.
My prayers to Greg. I have not met the man but we have waived at each other several times as we would pass on the road, him in his Karmann Ghia and me in mine.
I met Greg and his wife this summer and they are such wonderfull people. He is the pastor of the church my daughter and her family goes to and they love him . Our prayers goes out to him and his family .
While I have never met this pastor, My parents, as well as ourselves when we lived in Pike were members of this Church. We will keep Greg, his family, friends and CHurch family in our prayers.
