Black Jags play in Turkey Bowl

The Black Jags, a team comprised of 25 select teammates from this season’s Pike County Black Pirates and the Lamar County Jaguars, faced the Pike County White Pirates, a team comprised of the Pike County Gold, Red and White Pirates, in this year’s Turkey Bowl on Sunday Nov. 22.

The Black Pirates had a sponsor and were asked by the Jags coach to join together after the craziness went down to make a Pike Co team. Black took the high road and formed their own team with a few players from the Jags.

The Black Jags beat the oh so great and wonderful white team, oh sorry, white-red-gold team, whoop whoop!!! And for doing that they did win the Turkey Bowl...for Pike County...not overall.

My son played on they black Jags ,This bowl endeed up to be a joke with the controversy ,Coach John just wanted more kids to play ,It was about winning ,but the goal was to let more kids play ,not just the CHOSEN COACHES KIDS ,wich is becoming a major problem with pike rec. dept that should be addressed ,Good job coach John and Eric on coaching the Game with the White pirates and THANK YOU FOR INVITING MY SON TO PLAY ...Cant wait till next year !!! Ha, Ha, We beat the white Pirates..Ha,Ha,Ha
