Concord water pressure an issue?

Concord Mayor Sonny Story said fire hydrants are not fed by water from Griffin and he plans to speak with Pike fire chief Danny Henderson about water pressure issues that arose at the Magnolia Farms fire.

First; Sonny must get an appointment with Pike County Fire Chief Lt. Danny Henderson. Second; Marro must approve for Sonny to talk with his Fire Chief. Third; All parties involved must make sure Lt Danny is not on his CCFD job. Fourth; Has the PCAT staff been notified? After one/four is taken care of then Fire Chief Lt Danny Henderson will wave his magic wand and Concord will have all the water pressure it needs. Problem solved.

I live in Concord and know first hand of the inter problems that our city has.. one being our Mayor Sonny..you know him Sonny's Ice..he does not care one bit for our city in fact the talk is he has sold Sonny's Ice and will stay on as a whatever he calls himself.

Our so call county manager Steve Marro is a disgrace to all.. Oh , yes if it had been Sonny's Ice burning do you think the mayor would have told the firemen and woman to let it burn..Of course not his home in in front of it.. oh yea that is another matter to how Sonny got that puled off.

And the sad part is Mayor Sonnys is running unopposed this election.. HE will be moving soon and will leave Concord all in disaray from his so called political whats best for all od Concord... WAKE UP CONCORD

I think it is complete bs that someone can control water pressure to fire hydrants that feed an area.When the city mayor tells the chief to let it burn I think we have a much larger problem.To bad it wasnt his barn burning instead!I live in concord and think that the county or city(however this blame falls)owes the owner a new building for some a hole not releasing water that the land owner pays for!

Concord had the best Fire Department in Pike County and it served the smaller cities around. Mayor Sonny dropped the ball when he gave it to the county manager Steve Marro. Now Sonny knows he screwed up. It is sad Magnolia Farms found out the hard way. Also sad Lt. Henderson fought the fire from a cell phone in Clayton County. Maybe Sonny will fight the next fire with spring ice.

your retarded concord had one of the worst departments in the county its now the second worst station behind meansville ofcourse, and how is it hendersons fault he wasnt there, its called a volunteer deparment for a reason, if you want a paid department then pony up some tax money,its not the fire departments fault the city wouldnt give them enough water to do their job

Is it true that the Mayor Sonny was screaming at the firefighters not to use so much water? The papers report sounds bad for a city leader. Would the drop in water hurt Sonny's Ice production and sales?

Just how long will Clayton County put up with and pay Lt. Henderson for his duties in Clayco?
It is causing problems within, a cancer growing with others devoted to duty. If he is such a savior to Pike County then Marro should hire him fulltime and pay him a Chief's salary.
Let the CCFD get on with their business. CCFD could use a good fresh committed LT.

Hey wonder who you are? Everyone knows who you are even Danny does. You come on here ripping him on this site and the other site and well you run your trap over and over but you never give any facts what Danny has done so bad. Lets hear them right here. Go get another one of your CCFD Cohorts to post here and try to rip on Danny. Are you still sad and depressed then never asked you to be a part of Pike County.
