Mrs. Alicia Janita Bell Wilson, age 50, of Manchester, passed away July 25, 2018, at Well-Star Spalding Regional Hospital. She grew up in Winston Salem, NC, and attended the University of North Carolina, the University of Utah, and the University of Idaho. Alicia was a Certified Nursing Assistant, a homemaker, and of the Mormon faith. She was a true “sweetheart”, who loved animals, old movies, Harry Potter, reading, collecting stuffed animals and figurines, and holidays, especially Christmas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Eugene Bell.
She is survived by her loving husband: George “David” Wilson; mother: Alice Juanita McClelland Bell; sisters: Sharon Bell Gonzales and Rochelle Parker; brothers: Damon Eric Bell and Darrell Edward Bell all of Winston Salem; children: Elizabeth Vinson and husband Ray of Newnan, and Joshua David Wilson of Griffin; grandchildren: Jayce, Bryson, Sophia and J. D.; nephews: Damon Evan Bell, Dante Gonzales and Aiden Blackwell; nieces: Chakona Freeman, Nyah Denise Bell and Chayla Freeman; brothers-in-law: Jim Wilson and wife Joan Berry of Zebulon and Mike Wilson of Barnesville; numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 11 a.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville.
