Fighting foreclosures: a lose-lose situation?

Foreclosure filings are occurring every 13 seconds in this country.

And government programs to fight the foreclosure crisis look increasingly inadequate and should be reworked and supplemented with new ideas.

Pike County has 34 foreclosures listed in the PCJ this month. Believe the previous high was 33. Our commissioners still want to spend money and don't have a clue as to the hardship going on in the county. Even those still working or retired are taking cuts. it is time to cut our Pike government spending. Could start by voting two commissioners out of office since they don't get it.

Parrish Swift and Roosevelt Willis need to go and fast. John C. Morrison can rule district 1 and he will be my commissioner. My close friend and true lady in Pike will run against Parrish and will give a mandate. Goodbye Parrish and Roosevelt!!! You two jerks have hit the county coffers for your own personal gains too long. You two are one timers just like Donald Collins.
