Why in the world would PCSO not release info about the general areas of these crimes and what kind of property was stolen??? What's the point of even running this story?
"He{Neal} said local residents should be vigilant about vehicles or individuals seen around their homes"
THANKS!!! great idea...wish I would have thought of it...
Well, Golly Gee does it really matter what was stolen? No it doesn't. A theft is a theft. Let the PCSO do what they do and just maybe they can catch the prick(s).
The problem with citizens and the media is they think they need to know any & everything. Has it ever occured to you the police use counter intel and survellance to catch folks?
Hummmm, if the po-po's spill the beans the bad guys may changr their MO.

my point was why say anything if you are not going to say anything...they have already released enough info for the guys to change their MO. "bing" {that was the bulb lighting up}
I agree... the story should have said, there have been some things stolen in Pike county. PO PO says...we are workin' on it.

Well from what I heard on the scanner the one this morning and a few from the past week have all been near woodcreek and on woodcreek in the old zebulon rd/ concord area.
#2 - yep, they stole the asphalt off Wood Creek Road; left nothing but dust. Checked my mailbox and was relieved to find they didn't take my tax bill.

By gosh I think youre right John, as a matter of fact, I think they have stolen alot of asphalt from that area... Thank you for setting my blonde mind to ease. I wondered why it was all disappearing after the county was "putting it down". Now I know where it went. The mighty asphalt bandits got it. I better watch out. My road in this part of the county is paved. Think it will be next??? Those asphalt bandits are brave too they are hitting during the day.
That is the same kind of car I heard about.......
