The deadline for Pike County students to enter the SlowExposures student photography contest is today, Sept. 4.
Any Pike student in kindergarten through 12th grade may enter up to four photographs. This year’s theme is “The Wonderful World of Color.”
There are four categories. Category one is red, two is yellow, three is blue and four is rainbow, which includes any other color.
Students can enter their photos in any or all categories but they may enter only four photos maximum. All photos must be taken in Pike.
The contest includes cash prizes and trophies to first, second and third place winners in each category with one grand champion chosen from the first place winners.
Pike children have been part of SlowExposures since the beginning, said Anna Evans, student photography show coordinator.
