It's a diesel, hybrid, a plug-in, a three-cylinder - and a tour de force, perhaps?

BMW's Vision EfficientDynamics concept has been the subject of rumor and innuendo for weeks, but now the German car company is setting the stage for its 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show display with new details of its concept.

How cool is that? It could have additional advantages....I know I would have to sober up before I could find or open those doors.

Its a little too much looks wise and I'm sure its not exactly affordable either. It looks like a care from Back to the Future, way to spiffy.

patiently waiting for my next car. until one gets a consistent 100+ mpg, i'll keep my current car. 44 mpg.

as it's always been, expensive innovations generally target the high end first before trickling down into the mainstream.

with plug-in 100+ mpg cars, that is the way it will be but eventually, look out UAE, we don't need you anymore.

these 'future' cars are made by people who must not have families. Where's the baby seat going to be? How am I going to take my groceries home?
