Third Friday on the square has been a lot of fun. I wish the citizens of Pike will grow more supportive of this event. The amount of support for the same event in surrounding counties is astounding. Come on Pike! Support the people and organizations trying to make Pike a nice place to live. Let's come together tonight!

People in the area are missing out on one of the best events around if they aren't coming out for Third Friday Night on the Square. The music is awesome! Young and old alike bring their tables, cloths, chairs, flowers and picnics to enjoy while listening to the music. Others grab a bite from a nearby eatery and spread out on blankets. And what's even better, there is no admission charge. We owe a big "thank-you" to all the sponsors and musicians who give the gift of their time, talent and money to provide this wonderful gift to our people!

Why doesn't the Pike County High School Marching band or Chorus perform at these events?
