Excitement was in the air as football season was ushered in Friday. The stands were full, there was tailgating in the parking lot and the smell of burgers and popcorn filled the stadium air.
It didn’t take long for the Pirates to get the starved football fans on their feet. In less than 12 seconds, the Pirates had put points on the scoreboard.
